nice video. I wish I had that crew helping me in my garden! I'm looking forward to the next year and watching what grows at the white house. I think it will definitely encourage more people to garden. www.nadiaknows.com

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that composting manure is completely different from directly pumping animal waste over the land. Composting when done properly destroys pathogens and produces a slow release inorganic fertilizer that does not leach in the way that raw manure does. Here is a link to a document from Canadian College that specializes in farm composting, and many others can be found by searching raw manure compared with composted.

We agree with ahrcanum's comments about genetically modified foods. We've posted about their dangers before.

And that's why Dog-Wa and our upcoming products have never included GMOs and never will. See our safety standards at http://www.dog-wa.com/pages/safety-standards.

With that being said, I do not believe that Borlaug's work encompassed genetic modifications, except in the sense that he developed cross-bred and hybrid varietals of cereal crops.

okay. a fair post. but reality is that the genetically modified foods have risks. Monsanto sells terminator seeds, and the pesticides to stop infestation. Throw in aspartame and bovine growth formulas and no wonder the swine flu finds humans an easy target.
